Where: Meet on the Stairs of the Southbank Surf Club

Time:  6am - 7:30am

Starting at 12:30pm - Doomban Race Course 
Meet us on the public lawn in front of the pubic grandstand 
Enjoy yummy nibbles, laughs, and banter

Cost: $25 includes admission & delicious nibblies 
Cash Bar
Kids are welcome and 17 and under are free (admission & nibbles)

SEQ Trail Running Series

As a team we will be competing in the South East Queensland Trail Running Series.  Last year many of us gave it a crack and had a ball.

Why no try your hand at Trail Running this year.

Saturday Session

This Saturday is New Farm time!! Parkrun, Markets, coffee!!

When: Saturday 21st October

Where: Meet at the Rotunda, New Farm Park

Time: 6am - 7:30am

What: a 10km and a stretch, a 8-10km warm up and Parkrun, or come along for Parkrun! Choose your own adventure

Cost: $2

Breaky and coffee at the markets after. 

P.S. This is a copy of yesterdays (Wednesday) post from New Farm Parkrun:

"We are waiting until tomorrow to get a more definite idea from the council on whether we can go ahead this Saturday, given that the weather over the last few days hasn't been favourable.

We should have news for you tomorrow evening."

Even if Parkrun is not on, it is still a great place to meet and run!

Saturday Session, On Tour Wrap Up & BRS Birthday Party Update

Join us for a long run.  If we haven't seen you yet since our return from Cook Islands would love to catch up.

Good luck to all competing in the Tooheys Trail Run on Sunday.  Hope to see some of you there for your last little turning over of the legs before the race.

On Tour Wrap Up

Well we have returned from our Cook Island tropical getaway.

We all have the post holiday blues, returning to work and getting on with our normal life.

Once again I would like to congratulate everyone on their individual performances and thank everyone for making this BRS on Tour so memorable.  I felt like it really brought us together as a team.  That is hard to do with such an individual sport like running.

We are now turning our attention to next years BRS On Tour location.  And I am very excited about the options and possibilities we are all coming up with.

Can't Wait.
